Public Humanities Grantee Taiga Christie and Zoë Batson present “The Place is the Message”

Yale Environmental Humanities grantee Taiga Christie presented the outdoor public performance of The Place is the Message at Yale’s West Campus in Spring 2022. Read about the performance in the New Haven Arts Council’s online coverage

Christie organized two public shows in May 2022 with support from Yale Environmental Humanities and other funders. The other show was a performance of Ezell: Ballad of a Land Man.

Christie wrote about The Place is the Message in July 2022 for The Institute for Anarchist Studies: Place as Message: Anarchist Climate Communication Through Performance.”
