We are now accepting submissions from interested Yale graduate students or postdocs to present a paper at the Spring 2026 Yale Environmental Humanities Graduate Symposium. The Symposium is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 15th, 2026, from 3:00-5:15 pm at HQ 136 (320 York Street). Abstracts are due via this form by 11:59 pm ET on Friday, March 27th.
The symposium seeks to showcase current research and foster exchange between students, postdocs, and faculty working across diverse disciplines. Interested graduate students or postdocs may offer a presentation in one of two possible formats:
- Conference-length presentations (10-12 minutes)
- Lightning talk presentations (4-5 minutes, and only one slide may be used)
In either format, presenters may share a portion or overview of their dissertation or other research project, or draw on article-length and other short-form research efforts.
