Planting Garlic: A ritual and performance workshop
Thursday, April 10
2–3:30pm
Meet at 220 York St.
Hosted by the Performance Studies Working Group at Yale

Join Anisa George, a Philly-based performance artist and writer, in a session on collaborating with the more-than-human world. We will explore how we can challenge ourselves as creators to be direct agents in the regeneration and protection of the ecologies that sustain us. Can we enlist the more-than-human world as a teacher and collaborator? Can we de-center the human within our artistic lives? Can we learn from the wild world how to become more resilient creators?  Participants will engage in a ritual planting of garlic as well as a performance-making workshop.
