Mia Bay, the Roy F. and Jeanette P. Nichols Professor of American History at the University of Pennsylvania, author of Traveling Black: A Story of Race and Resistance, in conversation with Matthew Jacobson, co-director of the Public Humanities Program and the Sterling Professor of American Studies, History & African American Studies at Yale University.

This program is presented as part of the ongoing “Democracy in America” series, a collaboration between the New Haven Free Public Library and Public Humanities at Yale.
