Native Land Research Initiative to study the effects of indigenous land displacement and forced migration

October 5, 2022

The Native Land Research Initiative is an interdisciplinary research group with members from the Yale School of Environment, the University of Michigan, and Colorado State University.  The group applies datasets of land dispossession and forced migration to conduct macroscopic analyses that analyze the ways in which settler-colonialist forces have led to heightened food insecurity, exposure to contaminants, and health vulnerabilities among Native American tribes today.  Learn more about them, and their work, here.
