Dolores Hayden receives 2022 Vincent Scully Prize

Dolores Hayden, Professor Emeritus of Architecture and American Studies, has received the 2022 Vincent Scully Prize, which recognizes excellence in practice, scholarship, or criticism in architecture, historic preservation, and urban design.  The National Building Museum, which administers the award, cited Hayden’s “work on the politics of place…distinguished by close attention to stereotypes of gender and race embedded in American built environments.” Read more at the National Building Museum’s website.
