2022 Global Environmental Justice Conference will seek the intersections of equitable climate action and sustainable development

On October 13–14, 2022, the Yale Center for Environmental Justice and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will present the 2022 Global Environmental Justice Conference: Reimagining Our Collective Future: Advancing Climate Justice, Food Security, and Energy Transition in an Age of Uncertainty.

Anchored by a keynote from philosopher Olúfẹmi O. Táíwò, author of Reconsidering Reparations and Elite Capture: How the Powerful Took Over Identity Politics (And Everything Else), the conference will include panels on Finance for Climate Justice with a Caribbean Spotlight, Security and Sovereignty in the Global Food System, Field Perspectives on Energy Transitions in the Global South, and much more.
