Event description: 

Yale Environmental Humanities will welcome back students, faculty and other affiliates with a panel discussion and reception on Friday, September 9, 4:00pm, followed by an outdoor reception. 

The panel on cultures of land and landscape will feature three new members of the Yale community, Hi’ilei Hobart (Assistant Professor, Ethnicity, Race, & Migration), Nurfadzilah Yahaya (Assistant Professor, History), and Hannah Cole (Postdoctoral Associate, Center for the Study of Race, Indigeneity, and Transnational Migration/Yale Environmental Humanities). Panelists will present briefly on their work, as it relates to land, waters, and other built or natural environments, and human interactions with them.

An outdoor reception will follow the panel, starting around 4:45pm.
