Professor Victor McFarland will share a chapter from his current book project, Oil Powers: The United States and Saudi Arabia in an Age of Crisis. McFarland is an assistant professor in the Department of History at the University of Missouri. His research interests center on oil and the energy industry, along with related topics including the environment, political economy, and U.S. relations with the Middle East.
