Event description: 

A talk by Professor Rachel Morello-Frosch on public health and environmental inequalities. Morello-Frosch studies the race and class determinants of the distribution of health risks associated with air pollution among diverse communities in the United States. Case studies include the impact of coal-fired power plant pollution on human fertility, and the intersection of toxic contamination with poverty and racial discrimination.
