Event description:

no existe un mundo poshuracán: Puerto Rican Art in the Wake of Hurricane Maria is the first scholarly exhibition focused on Puerto Rican art organized by a large U.S. Museum in nearly half a century. The breakthrough exhibition commemorates the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Maria—the high-end Category 4 storm that made landfall on September 20, 2017. It explores how an intergenerational group of artists from Puerto Rico and its diaspora have responded to the five transformative years since the hurricane.
