Visualizing the Invisible through Augmented Reality & Poetic Imagination

In this talk, Nancy Baker Cahill and Jesse Damiani will offer brief introductions to their creative practices, and outline their approaches to natural phenomena in their artistic research as the collaborative Fundamental Attention Research Lab (FARlab). What role might new media art play in driving new forms of fundamental research and understandings of the cosmos? Of special interest will be augmented reality, a medium that can uniquely improve quantum literacies through its ability to trouble assumptions about the real.
