Nichols Professor of American History at the University of Pennsylvania, author of Traveling Black: A Story of Race and Resistance, in conversation with Matthew Jacobson, co-director of the Public Humanities Program and the Sterling Professor of American Studies, History & African American Studies at Yale University.
