Meenakshi Nair Ambujam (Graduate Institute, Geneva) and Charlotte Ciavarella (Harvard University), “Program in Agrarian Studies Graduate Student Colloquium: Session One” (Agrarian Studies)

The Program in Agrarian Studies welcomes everyone to our Spring Graduate Student Colloquium, which will take place this spring on Friday mornings, at 11:00 am EST, from April 30 to May 21. Each session will feature two engaging papers from graduate students from Yale University and beyond. This session will feature Meenakshi Nair Ambujam and Charlotte Ciavaralla. Ambjam will be presenting “Title-deeds, Record of Rights and Paradoxes: Exploring Conditions of ‘Landed Landlessness’ in Adivasi Life, Telangana (India)” and Ciavarella will be presenting “Proletarian Seas: A Labor History of the Skin Divers in Japan and Korea.”Please RSVP to agrarian.studies@yale.edu for Zoom links and papers for the individual sessions.
