Join us for breakfast and a conversation with John Durham Peters, María Rosa Menocal Professor of English and of Film & Media Studies at Yale.
John is a multidisciplinary media theorist and historian. He will teach the Shulman seminar in spring 2019 (dedicated to cross-fertilizing the sciences and humanities) on elemental media, the topic of his most recent book. He is working on a media history of weather in the five media of words, pictures, numbers, sounds, and deities.
