Event description:

Natural history is alive and well in 2020. We are still squarely in the age of biodiversity discovery, with new insights emerging at every level of biological organization. Advances in molecular biology and new visualization tools are bringing clarity to evolutionary questions that have lingered since the days of Darwin.
Yale Professor and Peabody Curator Erika Edwards will discuss surprises and delights of botanical exploration in many of the world’s ecosystems – including the sidewalks of New Haven - with fellow Yale Professor Martha Muñoz.
