Event time:

Location:
CCAM (149 York Street)
Event description:
Featuring philosopher, physicist, and feminist scholar Karen Barad, this event will celebrate the reveal of a custom-made Niels Bohr double-slit experiment object. Through a brief demonstration and discussion, attendees will be able to witness firsthand how light can behave like a wave and a particle. They will be able to influence the nature of light by their mere observation. The object will then begin a journey through the Yale campus. The experiment object, imagined as a portable, pedagogical tool, was designed and fabricated by Yale architecture students Roy Kim and Wai Hin Wong in collaboration with CCAM Director Dana Karwas and YQI Manager Florian Carle.
