Screening of National Geographic’s documentary “CANOEROS: LIVING MEMORY”
Followed by a conversation with members of the millenary Kawesqar people featured in the documentary.
 
About the film: Canoeros: Living Memory follows an unprecedented expedition of the National Geographic Pristine Seas team with members ofthe Kawésqar people to an extraordinary marine reserve in Chile’s Patagonia. Together they explore some of the most unique and least studied marine ecosystems on the planet, including vast kelp forests, glaciers, and fjords, in an effort toprotect them against threats posed by the devastating impacts of salmon farming.
