Join us for our first breakfast conversation of the fall semester, with Anthony Acciavatti, Daniel Rose (1951) Visiting Assistant Professor at the Yale School of Architecture. Professor Acciavatti is a historian, cartographer, and architect. In his most recent book, Ganges Water Machine, Professor Acciavatti combines fieldwork and archival research to create a comprehensive atlas and urban history of the Ganges River. Ganges Water Machine was awarded the John Brinckerhoff Jackson Book Prize in 2016, and Professor Acciavatti’s research is part of an international traveling exhibition with shows in New York, Mumbai, and New Delhi. His current book project presents a history of science and design in Asia and the Americas.
