Event description:

Registration for the 6th Annual Graduate Conference in Religion and Ecology (GCRE) at Yale is now open! This year our program will be an online conference, held on February 25th, 2022, with the theme “New Seeds, Strong Roots: Environmental Hope, Healing, and Restoration.” We believe our understanding of healing, restoration, and hope will shape our response to environmental crises for present and future generations.

The GCRE is an interdisciplinary conference jointly hosted by Yale Divinity School and Yale School of the Environment. We will highlight a spectrum of voices within the emerging field of religion and ecology at our upcoming conference, which runs from 10am-3pm EST. We are excited to welcome Dr. Melanie Harris, Professor of Black Feminist and Womanist Theologies jointly appointed with African American Studies at Wake Forest University, as our keynote speaker.

Students, faculty, alumni, and community members are welcome to join. Register using this link: https://cglink.me/2dA/s61207
