Veronica Womach is Georgia College’s first Executive Director for the Rural Studies Institute.  For 20 years, Dr. Veronica Womack has researched rural America focusing on the under-developed South. She is the author of the book “Abandonment in Dixie: Underdevelopment in the Black Belt.”
