Yale Environmental History will host a one-day conference on Saturday, April 14, 2018 to showcase new research in environmental history. The conference, “New Perspectives in Environmental History,” will feature presentations by doctoral students from northeastern universities, as well as comments and discussion by faculty.

The Call for Papers is presently available, with proposals due December 8, 2017 . Conference organizers invite submissions on a broad range of topics, including political economy, society and culture, intellectual debates, science and technology, microorganisms and disease, and policy and planning.  Conference organizers are particularly eager to include comparative and non-U.S. perspectives on environmental history.
